setting up a business selling 0845 phone numbers

Hi,

I live in the UK recently. I've been thinking alot lately about
setting up my own business to run from my home. I currently travel 2
hours per day to work for not much money.

I was browsing through the yellow pages recently and noticed that many
companies do not have 0845 numbers. These are numbers which are
charged at a local rate no matter where you are in the country.

Personally I see these as a massive benefit to a business as surely a
customer will ring this rather than a local number as it seems more
professional and it will cost the customer less. There is also no cost
to the business apart from the setup fee of 50.

As business owners do you think this is a good idea? There are about
30 million businesses in the UK which about 75% of these don't have an
0845 number. Surely there is a market for this.

Any opinions appreciated!
