You can also ask your client to pay by wire transfers, but that is rather inconvenient for them and for you... 2) lack of interaction and emotional stimuli from the limited computer environment to the consumer: our western societies have older consumers, and it may be a hassle for them to (1)use a computer to shop, and (2) have very few direction whatsoever to know what part of an offer is made for them 3) "Noise", that is the lack of originality and uniqueness this "Place" can be now... Everyone is on the internet, and I believe very few have been able to really make money on it (except a few blue chips company for BtoB marketing and porn sites)... This would also mean that price comparison is very easy for consumers, and therefore as competition is high, margins tend to be extremely tight...
