It reminds me of that snake in the Disney animal cartoon about Robin Hood. The snake that was the advisor to the evil cowardy king. I wouldn't really get all worked up about this logo. It's fine. I guess if I were to change it, I would make it less like a Disney character and more as if the snake is made out of light, lasers, or such. Perhaps a Tron snake.
