Hi,

I realize this probably doesn't help you, since you're trying to get
goods shipped from China to the US. But this does make me want to
remind folks about an inexpensive method for shipping overseas from
the US.

Assuming you're dealing with relatively low-cost goods, try plain old
postal mail. You can ship small packages, insured, overseas for a
fraction of the price of the standard package carriers. The two
drawbacks are you can't track your packages like you can with UPS or
Fedex, and delivery will be slower. I have used the USPS many times to
send cheap 1 or 2 lb packages overseas with no problem.

Go to www.usps.gov.

I find the USPS web site confusing and difficult to navigate, but it
can save you a lot of money.

Why don't you ask your supplier to ship the products via China Post?
