If I'm reading this right, this kind of thing happens all the time. I know many people who, for example, have corporations in Delaware or Nevada, and operate in California as a guest corporation. The subject hasn't come up too often, but a few CPA's have told me that they can file state taxes for any state. Whether they are skilled in doing so, or whether or not a great amount of skill is required, is quite another matter. To me, state tax returns seem to be a lot more straight forward than federal, but keep in mind that I haven't a large frame of reference. Mike
