I need a 3-4 phones set up with: (1) voice mail for each phone, (2) ability to transfer calls to any of the other 3 phones, and (3) ability to use all 4 phones to dial out at the same time (hence, have separate phone numbers per phone). I was quoted $1000 - $3000 by 3 individuals to set up such as system. This seems kinda expensive for a small 3-4 employee business. This is my first business btw. I didn't realize a multi-phone system was so expensive and underdeveloped compared to computer systems/networks. What system should I get under $1000 with all 3 necessities stated above? I'd prefer not to have extenions but if that's the only way to stay underpriced so be it. P.S., Would a Nortel (now sold to Aastra) Venture 4 phone setup work? How do these Venture phones work? How about Meridian phones?
