Brent, Has your research included web site like www.dmnews.com, www.clickz.com, or the Internet Advertising Bureau? They are some of the people most involved with online advertising. Basically, click-thru rate is the percentage of people who actually click on an ad out of all those who see it. It is important because that's what the marketer is really wants, interested viewers who will take action on the ad. Click-thru rates vary according to the economy, th type of ad, etc., but I have seen stories in DM News reporting between 0.5% to 3.5% recently.
