I have successfully self published two books. I am now going to be publishing a book by an author other than myself so I need to incorporate. I would say I am on a shoestring budget but I can't afford the shoe string so I am incorporating the business by myself - no lawyers. I was to use my name --something like kellybean enterprises, inc. and then under the inc run the publishing company under its current name..say xyz publishing. The reason for this is that I also get paid as a speaker to talk about publising and it would be less confusing to my clients if they could write the check out to Kellybean Enterprises rather than xyz publishing. So, can I run a separate business under a different corporate name? Thank YOU!
