The REAL Truth About Ronald Reagan

Dear Fellow American,

Last night was the first airing of Showtime's, "The Reagans," a smear job on President 
Reagan, his wife Nancy and his Administration.

But, the assault on Reagan didn't end last night.  Showtime and its sister network, 
Showtime Too, will be airing "The Reagans" three more times in the coming week alone.  
They must be figuring that if you repeat the lie often enough, eventually someone will 
believe you!

The Defend Reagan Committee has been a leader in objecting to the mistruths and 
inaccurate portrayal of the Reagans by the CBS Television Network (which first 
commissioned the production), Showtime (which has now aired the show), and their 
parent company, Viacom.

To continue our efforts to 'set the record straight', we are publishing prominent 
newspaper ads that remind Americans of the many accomplishments of President Reagan.
