Included within the monstrous and wasteful Medicare bill (H.R. 1) --
now pending before the Senate -- is a little-noticed provision that
allocates over $1 billion for illegal alien health care!  At a time
when U.S. veterans are being short-changed a possible $1.3 billion
in health care expenses in the Omnibus appropriations bill, our
elected officials in Washington want to spend your tax dollars on
the health care needs of criminal illegal aliens!

AL-QAEDA PLANNING 'GRAND FINALE' ATTACK ON U.S. SOIL

One top counter-terrorism official, cited in the latest issue of
Newsweek magazine, was quoted as saying the recent back-to-back
al-Qaeda attacks in Turkey and Saudi Arabia "could be the buildup 
to a grand finale on U.S. soil."  Citing increased "chatter" by
al-Qaeda, intelligence officials believe that large attacks in the
U.S. could take place -- possibly before the end of Ramadan this
month.

In related news, police in New York City have issued an alert for 
officers to be on the lookout for missing explosives powerful 
enough to bring down a commercial jetliner, according to Newsday.
Explosive strips called Primasheet have been missing from New Jersey's 
Newark International Airport since early September.

OFF-SHORING TO INDIA BACKFIRES

Following a deluge of customer complaints, Dell Computers has
rescinded the routing of corporate calls to its customer service
center in India.  Not surprisingly, customers were outraged that
"operators [were] difficult to communicate with because of thick 
accents and scripted responses," according to a NewsMax report.
Dell is just one of many hi-tech companies that have been off-shoring
jobs to India, presumably to cut costs.  Sadly, though, despite
this recent backlash against Dell, the company does not plan to
scale-back any of its other Bangladore, India operations.  Dell
employs about 44,000 employees -- over 54% of which are foreigners
overseas!
