Eid Mubarak

      Congratulations to our Moslem friends and neighbors on the completion of
the fasting month of Ramadan and the beginning of Eid al-Fitr today.

      Eid Mubarak.  Blessed is the Eid.

      The present difficulties in Iraq will be succeeded by worse troubles in
the Middle East, but our God is one and peace will finally reign upon our
Earth.  

      Allahu Akbar!  God is Great!

      Today, November 25, also happens to be the feast day of St. Catherine and
I would like to congratulate my older daughter Caterina on her name day, as
well as all those who have the names Cate, Katy, Cathy, Cathleen, Catalina,
etc.
