This is the wrong group for this, but I'll help ya out a little anyway... IT is possible that the file was created by a package called "albumwrap". This creates one mp3 file with all the tracks in it... Look for a program called "albumwrap extractor" it's a free utility that will extract the seperate tracks for you."Robert Hammack" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote in message news:[EMAIL PROTECTED]
I'm running XP Home & WMP9. When I download an entire album from a file sharing site it comes in the form of one track, for the whole album. How can I break-down this one huge track into the original number of tracks (songs) ? Everywhere it's just 1 long track, on the WMP Media Library, in the My Music files and when I burn a new CD! I'll be eternally greatful for some help here. Thanks
Get hold of an mp3/wave file editor (http://www.goldwave.com) for example. Then you can chop the file up as you want.
Cheers, Jerry
