Frank Stokes has been performing as an electric bassist since 1970. He is a
modern jazz composer of Native American descent who offers jazz music in the
form of healing energy as a lifelong follower of the medicine traditions of
his Navajo ancestors. Together with the distinguished Inter-tribal drum,
dance and singing group SilverCloud Singers Frank A. Stokes is now
presenting The Awakening * Live * as an event which combines the orchestra
heard on his site with the traditional instrumentation, singing and dancing
of the SilverCloud.
