Subject: Bjork becoming 38 years old

hello beppers,

Bjork became 38 years old on 21st Nov.

Bjork is currently in USA working hard in making her fortcoming record.
Hildur Runa Hauksdottir, Bjork´s mother said in interview that Bjork always
remembers other birthdays and enjoys celebrating her own. When Bjork was a
little kid she had birthday parties like other kids in her area. It started
with kakes parties when Bjork was a little kid but later on came hot dogs
parties and in her teenager years she offered pizzas.
I think she had changed her habits again so now kakes are on the top of her
birthday list says HIldur but she is in a very good connection with Bjork
and met her about 1 month ago. I feel it is a long time because Bjork´s baby
Isadora is growing up so fast. I know they are coming home to Iceland at the
beginning of December but Bjorks usually stays in Iceland over the
Christmas.

Hildur don´t expect Bjork to have a lot of time to celebrate her 38 years
birthday because she is working so hard on her new LP. But it is possible
that Bjork will celebrate her birthday when she heads home to Iceland.

21st Nov is also the birthday of Margret Ornolfsdottir who used to be in the
Sugarcubes with Bjork (who also had a child with Thor Oldon from the Cubes
like Bjork did). Magga is now practicing in the Hafnarfjord Theatre.

so now many Icelandic records are hitting the music stores. One interesting
artists releasing a record is the young Icelandic singer Hera.

hello beppers,

Hera together with two other Icelandic artists was choosen by the European
Roadworks Music (which is working on promoting singers and lyrics makers in
Europe) to feature on their record which will be released in 2004. Singers
from other European countries will perform on this record.

In January and February Hera will head to Italy, UK, France, Holland in a
concert tour with music people from Uk and Italy.

Hera´s new record is her is her fourth record although she is just about 20
yars old.

Hello. I'm sorta new here. I was subscribed a while back and then lost touch for a 
bit. No one really knows me here because i mainly sit back and read these mails only. 
However, if i can comment on any of them and help out in anyway i do. I actually 
bought this DVD today for only $9.99 and i must say it's not bad. It's pretty much her 
points of view on the Vespertine tour and how she went about putting it all together. 
The only thing i didn't understand is on her Royal Opera House DVD there is a section 
of her, matmos, Zena, etc. speaking about the tour and it's the same interviews on 
this DVD with tid bits added. It's worth getting if you're a huge Björk fan or if u 
want to know more about how she goes about being the artist that she is today and the 
reasons why she made the album Vespertine. If u want to sit back and rock out to her 
songs don't buy it because all the songs that are performed live on it aren't 
complete, they eventually get interrupted by her talking. I hope this
 helps! :}
