That's what I was wondering. Obviously people at the 4um could view it.
Except for me.

Michael Jackson, Santa Barbara, California: I have always loved and admir=
ed your creativity. Nature's struggle to survive alongside mankind has be=
en an inspiration for me: given the natural beauty of your Icelandic home=
land, how does nature inspire your work? =

Bj=F6rk: I hope this doesn't sound too naff, but being alone in nature, e=
specially after walking for hours, just puts you in your place and you re=
alise how small you are and how plenty of everything is all around you. T=
hen you just let go and surrender, become part of it. I'm so chuffed you =
asked me a question! I have to say you're the best, keep fighting and it =
angers me how cruel everybody is to you. It's like in the US right now, i=
t's illegal to be an eccentric. Maybe people would have been more underst=
anding if you were a contemporary of Ludwig II of Bavaria, who comissione=
d Wagner and lived with the swans. I listen to Butterflies off your last =
album all the time. You are a true artist! Thanks for fighting and believ=
ing in magic even though the rest of the world have forgotten about it. =

This Thursday BBC4 10:00 pm
Art Safari
The Church Of Cremaster

44

In the final episode, Ben meets hot American artist and partner of singer
Björk, Matthew Barney. Barney makes art on a Hollywood scale with videos,
sculptures, photographs and Vaseline. His Cremaster Cycle is the art world's
answer to Star Wars, including Busby Berkeley-style dancers, a paraplegic
athlete, and the Isle of Man TT race.

Ben sees these surreal visual story fragments like modern-day versions of
Renaissance frescoes, scenes from a new bible written by Barney himself. In
this film, Ben becomes a novice monk to discover the secret inner truths of
the Cremaster Cycle.

This programme contains scenes that some viewers may find disturbing.
