Isn't that the point of Simple Soul - in that it is a simple reflection of Eddi at that moment - recorded in Roy Dodd's back room? No over complicated arrangements etc

 

What about Angels&Electricity - that's quite 'produced' and 'Prayer Wheel' has some real oomph?

Agreed that Simple Soul is stunning and I suppose the clue is in the title but don't you think Eddi has been underproduced recently. albums lack the oomph of Mirmama or Candyfloss.
