Do you have both Linux OS and Win OS on your notebook, or just Linux OS and you tried win OS on your desktop (with a true EPP Bios Mode). You can fix the speed in the Chameleon POD, the speed is corresponding with the JTAG datarate generated by the POD.
You could try to use fixed Raven 8MHz configurations for the POD and try all the speed option by the software.
We are thinking there are different implementations for the different software speed. Sometimes true EPP is used by the host software and sometimes speudo-EPP is generated by host software.
I tried several configurations (8MHz till 64kHz) and all of the software configurations (speed form 1 to 8). I can connect at speeds less than 4 (5,6,7,8), but I cannot read from or write to the memory. I get a memory read error. Why ???????

P.S. I can connect correctly using Windows.
