We are thinking there are different implementations for the different
software speed. Sometimes true EPP is used by the host software and
sometimes speudo-EPP is generated by host software.


I tried several configurations (8MHz till 64kHz) and all of the software configurations (speed form 1 to 8). I can connect at speeds less than 4 (5,6,7,8), but I cannot read from or write to the memory. I get a memory read error. Why ???????

P.S. I can connect correctly using Windows.


Do you have both Linux OS and Win OS on your notebook, or just Linux OS and you tried win OS on your desktop (with a true EPP Bios Mode).
