Hi! If You very want I can tray help to you. But I work with data base about 4 years and work with people who do it more then 5 years. And we never do edit in the grid. Because it always depend with different troubles. Such as you writed and others. The best solution that we found and use now is use a single form for insert and edit any tables. Work with such solve very easy and developers and customers. And it esily will not do some error. You can do it yet easier if you make a base form with base function and component and will use it for all other form which will be use for insert and edit. Use simple visual inheritance.
