How to capture server screen with DCOM

I'm experiencing something strange. I've developed a DCOM Server which
captures the Desktop screen and sends it to the calling client using a
OleVariant array. All this works when the server and client are the same
computer. Is does not work when the server and client are different
machines. Can anybody help me to understand why?
