Copy & Pasting from VB to Word or NotePad

Thank you in advance for any and all assistance.

I have a VB 6 application and with a cmdCopy button, I would like to open a
file, C:\program files\program directory\program file.txt and copy to the end
of that text file information data on the clipboard.

Is there a place for code samples to do this?
