Skills:       Knowledge of EDI X.12 Standards (HIPAA mandated standards)
              Knowledge of HIPAA EDI requirements
              3yrs EDI Translator Exp, Gentran EC Workbench preferred.
              BA in Computer Science, MIS, or related experience
              Knowledge of XML required
              MQSeries, MSMQ, BizTalk experience desirable but not required
              Database experience a plus (Sybase, Oracle, SQL2000)
              2-3yrs exp working in a multi-vendor high transaction environment
              2-3yrs exp working in a Unix/Solaris/HP/UX environment
              2-3yrs exp Windows Environment (NT, 2000, 20003)
              Unix Scripting experience
              Strong Troubleshooting skills
              Excellent written and oral communications skills.


Scope:        The EDI Manager will be responsible for managing Client’s
              EDI systems and establishing, maintaining, and upgrading
              relationships with our customers on this trading platform.
              This person will understand the needs of the specific
              customers and work to determine what options are best for
              trading business transactions with Client. This manager will
              work closely with Client’s business units to ensure
              continuity and reliability of our EDI processes and
              procedures. A successful candidate will be able to
              demonstrate the required technical skills and their ability
              to fulfill the position’s responsibilities. This position
              must be able to function in a strong team environment.

              The EDI Manager is responsible for:
              Monitoring the daily Electronic Commerce Process
              Analyze potential EDI/Electronic Commerce problems, as well as
              monitor EDI/Electric Commerce environment and identify potential
              user problems and work with appropriate parties to resolve them.
              Ensure all business transactions have been acknowledged
              Follow up with customers that have not picked up transactions.
              Work with EDI Coordinators in other business units to resolve
              issues surrounding the production flow of electronic transactions.
              Monitor and report on trading partner EDI performance.
              Establish new EDI trading relationships
              Explain Client’s EDI requirements and testing process to
              potential trading partners.
              Setup and maintain trading partner profiles on EDI translator.
              Test and validate data transmissions.
              Assist in researching additional B2B implementation opportunities.
              Understand EDI ANSI X.12 standards.
              Work with business units to understand data flow and standards
              implications for new electronic transactions.
