Re: Dialog GUI design question

I don't see a problem with double-clicking to open a detail window,
but this could depend on the background or expectations of the users.
If you tell us more about why that approach bothers you, perhaps we
can comment more.

If a typical night's run leaves a large number of items to be
corrected, the correction process will be easier if you provide a list
of ONLY the unprocessed items. There are many ways you could do that.
One: by moving successfully processed items to a "done" list, leaving
behind only the unprocessed ones. Another: offering the user a choice
of two views, one showing all entries with the unprocessed ones
highlighted, the other showing only the unprocessed ones. Again, what
is best will depend on the users' background and expectations, as well
as the specifics of the application and data.
