Re: black and white image conversion

No need to go throw all Sevendy steps.

Just open your image, set it to RGB (image->model->RGB)
Pick the color Curves tool (image->colors->curves, or layers-->colors->curves
on 1.3).
Select the red channel, and flat the line to 0  (  _  ). Select the blue
channel,and flat the line to 0 ( _ ) . 

Click OK. DOne.
If you wanta lighter green, just do not zero all of the blue channel.
