Nortel has standard-sized 1000BASE-T GBICs for both the Passport line of products and the BayStack. Testing is currently being conducted for an 1000BASE-T SFP form factor and is expected for qualification early next year. ------------------------ From: MC <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: Copper GBIC on NORTEL Date: Sun, 2 Nov 2003 17:00:18 -0500 Location: news://news.houston.sbcglobal.net/comp.dcom.sys.bay-networks/[EMAIL PROTECTED] To: "comp.dcom.sys.bay-networks" <@news:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Anyone know of and had any luck using third party copper GBICs on Nortel switchs?
