Re: Copper GBIC on NORTEL

Nortel has standard-sized 1000BASE-T GBICs for both the
Passport line of products and the BayStack.

Testing is currently being conducted for an 1000BASE-T SFP
form factor and is expected for qualification early next year.

Anyone know of and had any luck using third party copper GBICs on Nortel
switchs?
If so Which ones' ?

Also anyone know of any plans for Nortel to have copper GBICs certified on
their switches ?

Thanks,
