Re: Optivity NMS 10.1 Installation problem on Solaris 8 Sun Ultra Sparc 60

It is very difficult to make any assumptions what has gone wrong. I
know it sounds lame, but calling the nearest technical support center
may be the way to go. They would need to look at your log files and
assist you in starting the processes in debug mode.

You can try starting
icd -d 3 -l 3
and possibly the output would give us some clue what might be wrong.

But my first guess would be that something went wrong during the
installation and that the database didn't get setup correctly. I am
not sure what could prevent the Apache from running as well. But I am
afraid that I can not start looking through your log files without
having a case. Since you are located in Italy the TSC in France would
be looking after you, if you decide to contact Nortel for Technical
Support. But please do run icd in debug and post the results.

Cheers,
Markus
