Some manufacturers may require, that you're using a NCCI , other may require a PLCI, but will also have to accept the NCCI. Even if it seems, that DTMFs may be PLCI-oriented, this is not the whole trueth: you need an established B3 connection, to select the B channel protocol. So the DTMF recognition is dependend from the logical channel (NCCI) configuration.
