The Eicon Diva Server Linux drivers will examine the first packets and set
the protocol accordingly if you use the serial TTY (/dev/ttydsXX) interface.
It can detect most protocols like HDLC and X.75 if not LLC/HLC is provided.
However this is done in the proprietary driver, so you will have to buy an
Eicon Diva Server BRI card to get it.
