Just purchase Cat5e rated cabling. Or, if you wish to spend the extra 
money, Cat6. Cat6 cabling is of no use at the moment.

As for your subwoofer - it depends on what type. Passive Subwoofers use 14 
gage speaker wire. Active (powered) subwoofers you can use RG-6 cabling.

If you're wiring RG-6 (Coaxial), you should buy Quad-shielded if possible, 
but regular RG-6 is good enough in most cases.

As a note, Cat5e cabling can be used for a variety of other uses besides 
data. You can use Cat5e cabling for Voice, Video distribution (S-
video/Composite), IR, line-level audio, and a myrid of other uses. 

Anyhow, if you're wiring your house, I suggest 2x Cat5e and 2x RG-6 to each 
jack.
