Error creating DataServer Schema for ODBC via MERANT driver

Hello

I am in a PROGRESS session and trying to connect to a table in a
SQL-database via ODBC. I can't create a DataServer Schema, during
creation that DataServer Schema I get following error message:

37000[MERANT][ODBC SQLBase driver][SQL Base]00901 PRS CNE Command not
properly ended

Can anyone help ?

- I'm using Progress 9.1D and I have no expereance in connecting ODBC
- for the target odbc database exist en ODBC system data source with a
Centura SQLBase 3.5 32-bit Driver-NT & Win95.
- test connection from odbc data sources works fine
- connecting from Microsoft Access works also fine

I have a session with one PROGRESS connected. I start Progress Data
Administration tool, choose
- DataServer - ODBC utilities - Create DataServer Schema
logical database name: LWSHIP 
Code Page iso8859-1
Connection Parameters:
ODBC Data Source Name: WSHIP

After these data entered I will be asked for User-ID and Password,
then I get following window:

Object Name: *
Object Owner: *
Qualifier: *

I use default values and choose OK and get a list of all tables
choosen. I select the desired table and choose OK and get the error
message

"37000[MERANT][ODBC SQLBase driver][SQL Base]00901 PRS CNE Command not
properly ended"


Is there another way to connect to an ODBC data base not using
DataServer Schema ?
