Dale, There seems to be a contradiction in your postings, First, you ask how many locks are available on Pick, Then you say you use a home grown locking system to give more granularity. I don't think your home grown locking system has been generally studied on comp.databases.pick. Perhaps you could examine the source code to determine what the maximum number of locks your home grown program supports!
