Hi everybody, pdoxwin runtime 10 introduced some problems with distributing table repair, but the Paradox FAQ addresses these problems. I have now, to the best of my ability, tried to implement these measures, but I still don't get the table repair to work under an exclusive runtime installation. Here is the relevant FAQ that did not make this work for me: http://www.thedbcommunity.com/faq/36.htm Here is my setup: The Paradox base install directory is c:\pdoxwin (due to need of consistent directory naming across different versions and a large customer base) Here is the setup measures I have done to ensure that table repair should work: The following files are in place: c:\pdoxwin\Paradox\tutil32.fdl c:\pdoxwin\Programs\tutil32.dll c:\pdoxwin\Programs\tuwwr32.dll c:\pdoxwin\myapp\expertssl.pxr c:\pdoxwin\myapp\expsrv01.ldl I have also created the alias pdxExperts to point to c:\pdoxwin\myapp (I have also verified that this alias generation was successful) I try to initiate the table repair, by opening the form c:\pdoxwin\Paradox\tutil32.fdl but I get the following error messages: - "String List: The specified file cannot be found." - "You have tried to access a document that is not open." What am I doing wrong? Any hints or help is much appreciated!! I might have misinterpreted the FAQ, but I know that I have given it my best shot ...
