Very interesting!
Providing multi-threaded solutions to Paradox.
The OCX would keep it away from a viable solution for Paradox / Linux
however.
I was thinking about checking out interfacing Paradox with PERL (PERL is
totally Free and no OCX required.). It provides various Database
connections, Web solutions, Graphs, XML Parsing, and much more... PEARL
could be sitting on a Web Servers and Paradox could communicate with it via
HTTP and CGI. Responses could be saved, or viewed in a popup Browser
Window. Multiple workstation could access a single PERL installation.... on
a LAN or WAN.
Both Python and PERL can add a lot of functions to Paradox.... in addition,
it can move some of the processing load off of the local PC or keep it
could keep it local and be used as a Windows Multi-threaded process.
I'm sure PONX could function very similar.
Nice work!
