If you have to do this, make sure that the BDE configuration setting "Local Share" is set to "True". If it's not, that's a sure way to get corrupted tables. That being said, if anyone is using the server as a workstation, it'll slow down the Paradox apps tremendously. And considering that you can get a decent PC for $500 these days, it is really worth the risk that your data could get corrupted?
