Description:   Major Financial Services Firm in Central New Jersey is seeking two 
Senior Senior Java Programmer Analysts with extensive brokerage experience.  The ideal 
candidates will possess 6-8 years of extensive design and development experience using 
Java and C++ in UNIX environments. The project consists of development of an API 
(Application Program Interface) to a High Transaction Processing / Real Time Data 
Transfer revenue system for traders and brokers. The ideal candidate will possess 
experience with the design and development of Java based API's that interface to 
Credit Risk and Fixed Income financial applications that are written with C++ in a 
Unix environment with Oracle and Sybase databases. The ideal candidates will possess a 
a green card or be of citizenship due to the fact that the client wants to have the 
option of hiring the developers after 6 to 9 months. These position are slated to 
begin on January 5th, 2004. Having Credit Risk, Fixed Income or Equities development 
experience is preferred.  

Responsibilities will include:
Design, Development and implementation of a hardened Java connection pooling facility 
to ensure that the threads will be secure
Design and development of the API layer to provide to the traders an Object Oriented 
view for calculations
Design, development and implementation of a standard API using the SYBASE JConnect 
JDBC driver to provide program access to the database and to handle  result sets 
Design and development of unit tests using JUnit for the Java API
Design and development of Java Components extended announcement, controller session 
and corresponding EJB as a part of the business tier using EJB Java API, JDBC API for 
high process transactions.
