JOB DESCRIPTION This position is located in Virginia/DC area. It's purpose is to assume management responsibilities for supervising consulting projects in the Business Intelligence area for federal government clients. The employer is one of the largest international accounting and management consulting firms. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE Project oversight Insuring customer satisfaction Insuring project profitability under the direction of the Director of Business Intelligence Act as primary point of contact with clients to establish project plans, milestones, deliverables, and risk assessments Manage and coordinate technical teams Manage and lead the Data Warehouse lifecycle (requirements analysis, modeling and design, database and end user application development) Architect Data Warehouse/Marts by providing technical infrastructure designs, data mappings/flows, and report dissemination mechanisms REQUIREMENTS 10 years IT experience with a minimum of 2 years managing Data Warehousing or BI projects and teams Project Management experience: planning, risk management, scheduling, task management, team leadership, and quality control 4-year degree in Computer Science/IS or equivalent Experience in Data Warehouse methodologies and Dimensional Modeling (Star Schema) Expertise in Oracle relational database system, including database design, SQL, PL/SQL, and SQL*Loader Experience in at least 1 OLAP reporting tool (Oracle Express, Cognos, Brio, etc.) U.S. Citizens or Green Card holders only. No relocation package. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS The base salary is highly competitive. Our guess is in the $85,000 to $100,000 range for a qualified candidate.
