John, "Taking control of the BI market" is a bit strong. MIS is a relatively small German company that has repeatedly failed to make inroads into the major English-speaking markets. Regardless of whether you like its products, MIS remains a fairly small regional player that has struggled to stay profitable. And XLCubed is an even smaller start-up. Sadly, in the rough and tough computer software industry, it's often not the companies with the nicest products that win in the long run.
