I keep hearing rumors about a 'fix' for blank locations in iifile_info and the removal of redundant locations from aaaaaaaa.cnf and iidbdb, but I have yet to see one in the flesh ;-p

The blank location is an artifact and is kept to help rollforwarddb recover tables IIRC.
