I've been requested to make a DB2 database, which resides on a Linux system, accessible to the Web both for data input and query as well reporting. I need recommendations for both the front end (development of the screens etc. in the WWW environment) and the reporting ( currently I'm leaning towards Crystal ) with specialized reports delivered either over the WWW or E-mail.
There are so many choices here, it's really dependent on the skill set that you have available. You can talk to DB2 in C/C++, VB, ASP, PHP, Perl ...
