Return from query to form with queried records only

I have a form with several queries assigned to different buttons.  The
user clicks on the button, enters the department number, and the
queried data is displayed in a grid.  Now they want to be able to
highlight several records from this grid and return to the form with
only those selected records.  Has anyone attempted this before?
