There are really tons of technology to choose from out there, here are some
of the most deployed methods today that I've seen.

PHP MYSQL = Simple mostly geared for small sites.
ColdFusion, MS-SQL = Moderate found mostly in medium size sites.
JSP/Servlets Oracle  = Complex, used mostly in by large enterprise
companies.
