basically you need another protocol, install netBEUI for now and when
you're done you can uninstall it

they don't have to be the same but they should be able to resolve.
just as a test put the webserver dns the same as the domain-controller
dns and see if it fixes the problem.

i'm not sure, with what you post here, from the web server you do a

c:\>nslookup domain-controller.domain.com

if you get and ip of the domain controller then the web server is
configured correctly, then you should go the the domain controller or
any other system and do the same for the web server

c:\>nslookup webserver.domain.com

if you get the ip address of the webserver then just try opening a
browser and doing the http://sebserver.domain.com and it should work.

let us know specifics. what command you ran and steps, that way i can
get a better idea.
