Re: Is optical mouse better than roll-ball mouse ??

Try sitting in an office with a door that opens onto a machine
shop/weld shop, with a garage door 10' away, that's open all
day. Can you say, "daily," boys and girls?

Then again, another cow-orker's computer (actually, kind of
generic to the shop) is sitting on a kind of styrene conference
table, white with a surface about as rough as terry cloth - and
the optical mouse doesn't work worth beans. There's an old
ball-mouse pad, but the optical mouse had too much friction
with it, so now there's a piece of cardboard for a mouse pad.
