They will be listed in the "Add and Remove Programs" with the word "toolbar" or just "bar" somewhere in the title. Sometimes they can cause the browser to malfunction. Also, try doing a repair of the browser. Go to "Add and Remove" programs and select the browser to uninstall. It will then prompt you for either an uninstall or repair. Select repair. You could also try uninstalling all IE Active X controls (IE->Properties->Settings->View Objects). Right click each object and select "Remove". I'm assuming,of course, that you're using IE. For other browsers, you'll have to search as to where they can be removed from. As a last resort, reinstall Windows ME. Hope this is of some help.
