Google Logo missing from www.google.com

When I type www.google.com in either Internet Explorer or Netscape's
Address bar, I go to the Google site, but the Google logo is missing. 
This is on the Web tab.  Clicking on their Images, Groups, Directory,
or News tabs will display the logo.  WHY is it missing on the Web tab?
 Thanks for any help ~ I miss the logo.
