Re: TIAD for TBBS

There are several advantages that TIAD has over IPCONSERVER that make TIAD a
better choice.

1. TIAD is free, IPCONSERVER requires a registration fee.

   2. TIAD only needs a network card to work all lines on a TBBS system
(IPCON needs lots of serial ports)

   3. TIAD impliments a full telnet session setting up character echo,
character mode etc. etc. IPCON doesn't

4. TIAD only needs on port (23)

5. TIAD is made for tbbs so it works well with tbbs

6. TIAD version 0.2.3 alpha is very stable

BUT

TIAD appears to be only in alpha at the moment.

How do you use it?????? A few instructions on how to install it would make it a bit more useful! I can't make it work and it crashes my Windows machine.
