Inexpensive way to get Worldgroup v1 on internet

I have an older version of Worldgroup i.e. Major BBS.  I contacted Vircom
and the Major TCP/IP cost 500 dollars.  This board is just going to be a
hobby for me and I am not going to spend that much money to do it.  Has
anyone come up with a way of doing this using various versions of windows.
I have 2 machines that I can use to accomplish this if needed.  I tried to
set win server 2k up to try routhing, but I apparently do not know how to do
this..  Any help wold be appriciated.  b
