HOW TO CALL A BBS USING A CALLING CARD

How to Dial up a BBS using a calling card..

#2) open up your hyperterminal..

#3) Using the phone connected to the modem, Dial the 1-800 number on the
calling card
    Enter your PIN number
    Enter the number of the BBS you wish to dial upto

#4) Inside your hyper terminal, HIT "ENTER" this will put your modem online
     then type ATX0DT  (That is a ZERO)
     The "AT" is ATTENTION MODEM
     THE "X0" turnes off result codes "If you dont put the X0 it will say no
dialtone"
     the "DT" mean dial.. So your telling the modem to DIAL (NO NUMBER) but
dont listen
          for the dial tone!
