ME, Mainboard change

I need a faq or a link to one for moving my HD and other components
over to a new case/MB/CPU.

I have ME, and the current mainboard is dead, so I won't be able to
boot it until I get it in the new case/MB.  I will use the same video
(for now), modem, etc, but all of the mainboard drivers will not be
the same.

Can I assume I can boot up in safe mode and use device manager to
disable all drivers and install new ones?

Any info would help. I sure don't feel like re-installing
everything......
 (I do have the ME retail CD).
