First you should check if your tape drives are

visible from OS: (HKLM/Hardware/Devicemap/SCSI/SCSI Port n)

You should find there the Library Controller

and the Tape drives.

Tapes that have a loaded Tape driver have an

entry like DeviceName: REG_SZ: Tape n

If you can't find any Library Controller or

Tape Drives something must be wrong with your

Switch Zoning or Device Mapping in the SCSI/FC

Router.

This Router can be accessed via serial connection (with a special serial
cable which

comes with the router itself) of via IP

(e.g. Hyperterminal connection to that IP address).

Default serial parameters are: 9600, 8, N, 1

My recommendation for router settings are

Indexed Mode - not automapped scsi-devices
