inductively charged LED lamps

I was wondering if anyone had schematics for a small LED and battery
that inductively charges by sitting in a cradle and switches on when
taken from the cradle.  I'm trying to build a much cheaper version of
the this <http://www.thinkgeek.com/gadgets/lights/5cf5/>. It's called
a "Candela" lamp.  Anyone ever build one of these?  I've searches Nutz
and Volts back issues, but no luck.
